Our recognition system, ‘CREATE,’ is based on these 6 Characteristics to form the ‘CREATE’ acronym:

| Empathy | Understanding and respecting different perspectives is a key skill in today’s interconnected world. Empathy helps children build strong relationships, work effectively in diverse teams, and develop emotional intelligence, qualities that are highly valued and contribute to positive social interactions. |
| Adaptability | By developing adaptability, children learn to approach challenges with confidence, think creatively in uncertain situations, and stay resilient in the face of setbacks. |

As Beachborough children develop these characteristics, they are recognised and awarded with their attainments tracked by teachers and tutors. Support and advice is given to children to look closely at which characteristics are more challenging for them to achieve. This ongoing process is intended to develop skills that will prepare children as they move on from Beachborough to ensure they reach their own goals, whatever they may be.
