Remote Learning

During the lockdown periods, we consistently delivered a structured programme of learning, both remotely for children studying at home and in person for the children of critical workers, whom we welcomed safely into school.

Our staff used Microsoft Teams as an online platform to keep children, staff, and parents connected, supporting the delivery of a full timetable throughout the lockdown and beyond.

Laptops were provided to children who did not have access to a device at home. Children’s wellbeing was central to our approach, and we aimed to offer opportunities for social interaction alongside academic learning.

We are confident that, should a similar situation arise in the future, we would be well-prepared to deliver a rich and appropriate remote learning programme
