IT Technician (from September 2026)

Permanent, Full-Time (37.5 hours per week, 9:00am – 5:00pm)

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and proactive IT Technician who enjoys a hands-on role in supporting and developing IT systems within a busy school environment.

This role would be an ideal first position for someone who has recently graduated from university and is looking to begin their career in IT within a supportive setting.

This is a key position responsible for the day-to-day delivery of IT support across the school. Working closely with the IT Manager, you will help maintain and develop the school’s IT systems and infrastructure, ensuring a reliable, secure, and high-performing environment for both staff and pupils.

You will provide technical support to all users, install and maintain hardware and software, manage helpdesk requests, and contribute to ongoing IT development projects including cloud services, data management, and system improvements.

The successful candidate will be flexible, practical, and willing to learn, with a focus on providing high-quality support and ensuring all work is carried out in line with safeguarding, data protection, and health and safety requirements.

School Nurse (Term Time Plus 4 days)

Start Date: September 2026

Beachborough School is seeking a dedicated and compassionate School Nurse to lead our Medical Room team from September 2026.

This is a key role within the School, responsible for the day-to-day running of the Medical Room and ensuring that pupils are supported with high-quality, professional and caring medical provision. You will also play an important part in promoting health and wellbeing across the School community.

Working under the direction of the Bursar, you will lead and manage a small team and ensure that medical care, first aid provision and health-related procedures are delivered effectively and in line with best practice.

This is a term time only role (plus 4 additional days).

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has a strong clinical background and a caring, calm approach
  • Is confident managing a busy and varied workload
  • Can build positive relationships with pupils, parents and staff
  • Is committed to safeguarding and promoting pupil wellbeing
