At Kites, we cultivate a family-like atmosphere. Houseparents Nick and Susi Blithe along with their two grown up children and two dogs, Arnie and Jethro, create a supportive community where boarders feel at home. Our approach balances fun activities with structured routines to ensure restful nights.
“Boarding at Beachborough is extremely flexible….from a one-off try out, to coming for regular nights every week.”
–Houseparents’ Welcome
To ease the transition into boarding, new students receive a personalised guide and are paired with experienced buddies who mentor them through their initial days.
Engaging Boarding Activities
Our boarders participate in a variety of activities designed to foster creativity, teamwork, and enjoyment:
- Outdoor Games: Capture the flag, water fights
- Creative Workshops: Crafts, tech Lego
- Evening Entertainment: Board games, ‘You Choose’ activity nights
- Special Events: Friday night boarding parties planned by the boarders themselves
These activities are thoughtfully scheduled to provide a balance between excitement and relaxation.
