The wellbeing of our pupils is an essential part of life at Beachborough Prep.
Bookable sessions with Mrs Crook, our Wellbeing and Nurture Practitioner, encourage mindfulness and calm, giving children the chance to reflect upon and talk about any issues or problems they may have, as well as being provided with information on skills that they can employ to recognise and appraise situations they are likely to encounter; from advice on getting to sleep, to more complex cognitive methods for dealing with adversity in today’s increasingly demanding world.
The door to the Wellbeing Room is always open for pupils to drop in and speak with Mrs Crook, and the Wellbeing Garden is a relaxing place where pupils can go to have some quiet time, should they need it.
