As the autumn term came to a close yesterday, we gathered at St Augustine’s Church in Westbury for our Carol Services.
Our children read aloud with confidence to friends and family, and we were treated to a wonderful array of songs from the Chamber Choir, who sang beautifully. A ...heartfelt thank you to our children and staff for creating such memorable services, and to our guests for sharing this special occasion with us.

This morning, we held the highly-anticipated Prize Giving assembly for the autumn term; a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the accomplishments of the children in Forms III-VIII.
Children were awarded trophies, cups, certificates and gifts in categories such as sport, academics, boarding,... attitude towards learning and, our newly introduced CREATE programme.
We also celebrated aspects such as the most improved child in certain subject areas, recent assessment results, and overall Club winners! It was a great morning which enabled us to come together and recognise the successes of our Beachburians. 🏆

Our Reception and Pre-Prep children have truly shone this week in their delightful production of Simply The Nativity. Complete with sparkling angels, camels, a colourful Christmas tree and three wise men, it was a performance to be proud of from start to finish. We're excited to launch Beachborough School Flying Club, as a new co-curricular offering for our Beachburians!
We'll be working in partnership with @britishyoungpilots (BYP) from January 2026, where each week, children will enjoy lessons led by a BYP instructor, combining theory... with practical flying skills on a flight simulator. Plus, each half term, pupils will have the opportunity to fly a real aircraft for 30 minutes and put their skills to the test! 🛩️
Open to Forms VI-VIII, this club offers the chance to pass civilian pilot exams and, for motivated members, even graduate with a Private Pilot License (PPL).

Yesterday afternoon, we hosted our annual cross-country event, The Beachborough Run.
We were thrilled to welcome 12 local schools, whose pupils rose to the challenge of a demanding course around our grounds. Our U11 runners completed a 3.2km route, while the U13s, who set off a little ...later, tackled 4.2km. Every participant should feel immensely proud of their efforts, and a huge congratulations goes to all of our winners!
We look forward to welcoming our visiting schools back next year 🏃
