The Beachborough Association is a group of parent volunteers who come together to organize social events for the school.
From the glamorous Beachborough Summer Ball to fun family camp-outs, our social events pull the whole Beachborough community – new and old – together. Our aim is to make everyone feel welcome and part of the Beachborough family.
The two key bi-annual events are the Beachborough Summer Ball and the Beachborough Christmas Bazaar which are run on alternate years. We also organise more informal events like ‘Call my Bluff’, Race nights, Fashion Shows and Bonfire night.
Most of our events are run at cost but any extra funds raised go towards school projects. In recent years, we have funded a collection of musical instruments for new learners to borrow, the audio-visual equipment and curtains in the new theatre, a fantastic adventure playground and most recently a wonderful new Wellbeing Room for the children.
The BA also works very closely with the Year Reps, a group of volunteer parents who help new parents settle in, provide information and organise events within their year groups. A list of all year reps and BA members can be found in the School Planner.
If you feel you would like to help in any way - great or small - your time and support would be very much appreciated. Supporting the BA is fun, rewarding and a great way to meet other parents.
