After the huge success of the last Music Tour to Belgium, we are now planning the second
Beachborough Music Tour, which will take place in February 2017. This tour will be heading off to the Rhineland, which has a variety of venues perfect for a tour such as ours.
We will be using the same tour company as last time, Rayburn Tours, and we have chosen the Rhineland as it is one of their most popular destinations. This is due to the enthusiastic reception concerts receive and the number of opportunities available. We will perform three concerts and it is hoped that venues such as the hugely impressive gothic cathedral in Cologne as well as the Marble Hall in Bad Ems and Florinskirche in Koblenz will be an option for us. This, interspersed with rehearsals, trips to castles and hopefully Beethoven’s birthplace, will ensure that the tour is musically themed through and through!
The tour will take place from the 6th – 10th February 2017 and the cost will be £505. This will include full board and accommodation at the DJH Bad Honnef in The Rhineland, Germany, where the children will be in multi bedded rooms with en suite facilities. The cost also includes all excursions during the tour and bespoke tour hoodies will be provided to all musicians. We will be travelling by coach with a short channel crossing by ferry from Dover to Calais. The tour is open to all musicians in Forms VII and VIII (in September) and all abilities will be catered for. We will be taking a choir and an orchestra and if your child does not play an instrument we will find them a triangle or a drum to play – they will all be included.
If you would like your son/daughter to join us for what will be a memorable tour, please request a booking form.
