Twenty Form VI pupils attended the Beachborough Leavers’ Charity Prom, held at Stowe School last week. Since the beginning of the year I have been organising the prom, so that this year’s Leavers could celebrate their time at Beachborough and raise money for charity. The evening started with fancy dress photos taken by LC-Photography followed by a three course meal. After the meal it was time to start dancing.
The prom was my first entrepreneurial project and I’m really pleased to have raised £225.10 from the event with further monies to follow from the sale of the photos. The funds will be split equally between Greenfingers and the David Shepherd Wildlife Foundation (Stowe School’s charity). A huge thank you to Stowe school for the free hire of Stowebucks, the loan of the catering equipment and all their help, Laura Laws from LC-Photography for the photos and Padbury Meats for the donation of the meat ingredients.
