Beachborough Triathlon CLub

Wins for Beachborough Triathlon Club

This was our first race of the season and it took a huge amount of determination, effort and energy to complete this event. The weather was at its worst – cold, wet, windy and just generally a horrible day. One of those days you should be inside eating crumpets and not out in a skimpy tri suit battling the elements trying to do a triathlon. However we had a great number of children who embraced the conditions and did really well. I have to single out William and Lily who showed such huge true grit and determination to complete the course. It is not all about winning but the taking part and being a good role model for the younger child. They both also showed huge commitment to complete the course as it was tough out there cycling on grass but they did Beachborough proud and completed the race. They should both be very pleased with their performances. Well done to every child who completed this event. I hope the next one coming up is warm, sunny and hot! –Beachborough Aquathon at Bloxham School next Sunday 26th April!
