In recent years a growing number of boys have gained entry into MCS (Magdalen College School, Oxford). It is regarded as one of the most academic schools in the country and always heavily oversubscribed. The entry process is rigorous and involves several assessments followed by an interview on invitation. All of this happens during Form IV and this year Oliver has not only been awarded a place at 13, (which is an achievement in itself) but he has also achieved an “All-Rounder Award”. MCS state on their website that “All-Rounder Awards are made to a number of pupils of high academic ability who are likely also to make a substantial contribution to the wider life of the school.” Oliver worked very hard to achieve this and deserves an enormous amount of praise and acknowledgement. So, well done Oliver we are very proud of you!
