Wins for Beachboroughs’ Equestrian Team

Beachborough Equestrian Team are celebrating some hugely impressive performances at
Winchester House Hunter Trials at Foxhill Farm, Eyden last Sunday. Sunday saw 24 Beachborough children travel to the  Winchester House Hunter Trials and, once again, all
our riders put in fabulous performances. The sun shone and the course looked great.  4 mini teams took part in class one.  The team of Charlie Linnell, Amelia Morgan and Lucie Oakey all flew round the course to finish 2nd, with Lucie finishing second  individually.  Sadie Lloyd, Luli Alderman, Lily Brennan and Amelia Morgan finishing fifth.  Everyone completed the course including Jo Linnell who showed some very athletic moves as she ran round the course with Hardy in his first competition for the school!Charlotte Morgan with Olivia Hill from Swanbourne were the winners of the novice pairs, Katie and Sophie Lee came fourth.  The Novice team consisting of Charlotte Morgan, Kitty Jewson, Sophie Lee and Olivia Hill were placed second with 4 fantastic clear rounds.  Lottie Rymer rode a very determined round on her pony Harry, who did not make nearly as much effort as she did, but she completed the course and crossed the finish line with a smile on her face.  Matti Goosey also rode a determined round for her first novice competition.  Charlotte was placed 6th individually and Kitty was placed 10th.The intermediate team of Katie Lee, Sophie Tredwell, Molly Linnell and Ellie Binns were sadly not placed despite all riding fantastic clear rounds over a big course.Huge thanks to everyone who took part, especially the Morgan family who came to my rescue when my lorry broke down with 4 ponies on board and all the team kit.
