New Building

September 6th 2006

The first day of the Autumn Term and the first day in our new classroom block.

Track the developments of our new early years building.

In March 2005 the Governors approved the decision to build a purpose built block, designed to house the Pre-Prep (ages 2-7) and the Middle School (Forms I & II of the prep school, ages 7-9).

In making this decision the Governors took into account the need to refurbish the accommodation vacated by the pre-prep; a fully funded plan is in place to transform these classrooms into state of the art facilities for the prep school.

Building began in September 2005 and progress has been rapid. Pupils will move into the new building in time for the start of the Autumn Term on Wednesday 6th September.

This, in turn, will allow for the refurbishment phase of the prep school classrooms to begin in earnest, starting with the Learning Resource Centre a combination of ICT and reference library facilities.

A full tour of the new facilities is part of the Headmasters introduction to the school when prospective parents visit Beachborough.
