Aims and Philosophy

Beachborough is a preparatory school which aims to prepare children for transfer to senior school.

Whilst rewarding the best, it values the best efforts of all individual children. It values children who try their hardest.

It values children who consider the needs, values and cultures of others and not just their own. It encourages manners and self-discipline.

It values children who try to get involved with a range of activities. It encourages a "play hard, play fair" attitude in competitive activities.

It encourages its community to strike a balance between "work" and "play".

It recognises that children still need time to play.
