Children are welcomed into the Nursery class from the age of 2½ and will progress into the Kindergarten class the following year. We would like the children to be potty trained, however we are happy to work with parents if they have a potty training programme in place. For many children this is their first experience away from home and we make the transition to nursery a happy and easy one by providing a warm, caring and friendly atmosphere. Our purpose built, well equipped, bright and airy facilities together with a team of qualified and experienced staff provide a happy sociable environment where all children are treated as individuals.
The nursery and kindergarten rooms are set up with activities and resources, specific to each age group. The children enjoy the freedom of outdoor play in the safety of their own enclosed play area. We also make full use of the schools’ extensive facilities and grounds, with regular visits to the Forest School area and weekly gymnastics in the sports hall.
