Ten children in Form VII took part in a ‘Great British Bake Off’ workshop on Saturday, hosted by Bloxham School’s Food Technology department.
Following a format similar to the hit BBC television show, the young bakers were challenged to produce show stopping cupcakes, using their technical skills and creative flair. Old Bloxhamist, Julia Nash, who is a Director of Nash’s Bakery Ltd., returned to Bloxham School to judge the competition. Star Baker prizes were received by Holly and Pippa, who each went home with the latest Great British Bake Off recipe book, and a few cupcakes. Well done to all the bakers’ for putting so much enthusiasm into their baking.
